For support organisations, McKenzie Friends and practitioners
If you support fathers through private children proceedings, we would like to send you a copy of When You Can’t See Your Child to assess.
We are not asking you to promote or endorse it. We would like you to judge whether it would save the fathers you support from avoidable mistakes, and to tell us plainly where it does not.
Three questions we will ask
- Which chapter would you most often direct a father to?
- What is wrong, unclear, missing or out of date?
- Would you recommend it to a father entering proceedings?
A short reply is enough. Corrections are as useful to us as praise.
Multiple copies
Support organisations can buy several copies at a discount, to give to the fathers they support.
| Copies | Price per copy |
|---|---|
| 1 to 9 | Amazon list price |
| 10 to 24 | £15.99 |
| 25 or more | £13.99 |
Postage is charged at cost for 10 to 24 copies and is included for 25 or more. To order, email hello@miskellybooks.co.uk with your name, your organisation and a delivery address, and we will reply with the total and an invoice.
Common questions
Do you expect us to promote the book?
No. A review copy comes with no obligation. If you find it useful, you are welcome to say so, and if you do not, we would like to know why.
Is the book legal advice?
No. It gives general information and practical guidance, and it does not replace advice on an individual case. Please do not send us the details of a case: we cannot give advice on individual proceedings.
Can a father who cannot afford the book get a free copy from you?
Not directly. Support organisations can order copies at the multiple-copy prices above to give to the people they support, and we send review copies to organisations free of charge for assessment. A father who cannot afford the book can ask a support organisation near him whether it has copies.
